Simon Radley Kitchen Academy
at The Chester Grosvenor
Do you have a passion for food? Would you like to learn from one of the best in the business?
Michelin starred chef Simon Radley has launched a search for the rising chef stars of tomorrow.
Now in year three, the ‘Simon Radley Kitchen Academy’ will nurture young talent by offering apprenticeships to 10 lucky aspiring chefs.
Each apprentice chosen by Simon to join his team will earn while they learn in a full time role in our multi-million pound state-of-the art kitchens.
The Apprenticeship in Professional Cookery is open to anyone aged between 16 and 24, including school leavers, the unemployed and people changing career.
The Level 2 Apprenticeship will last 12-months and will enable people to earn while they learn.
The Chester Grosvenor has employed apprentices in its award-winning kitchens for approximately 20 years and with up to ten new Apprentice Commis Chefs being recruited each year, it’s obvious that apprenticeships give results.
Former apprentices include rising star Andrew Cooper, who began his journey with The Chester Grosvenor in year one of the Simon Radley Kitchen Academy.
Now as the pastry kitchen’s second in command, Andrew said:
“Gaining Michelin starred experience first hand isn’t something that can be taught in a classroom. Training with top chefs from around the country in a state-of-the-art kitchen really is the perfect launch pad for a successful career”
