One of the best ways to discover Chester's 2000 years of history is to join one of the many walking tours, picking up from the Chester Visitor Centre, Vicar's Lane (opposite the Roman amphitheatre) en route and starting from the Tourist Information Centre, Town Hall Square.

The Chester Tour

One of the best ways to appreciate Chester's 2000 years of history is to take one of the fully guided, open-top sightseeing tours. Tours last 55 minutes but your ticket is valid all day so you may get on and off the tour as you please.
Tour Times:
Daily between March and October, at least every 15 minutes in June, July and August, and every 20 to 30 minutes at other times.
