Laura Wileman, Commis Chef Apprentice within the prestigious Simon Radley Kitchen Academy at The Chester Grosvenor, has won the Total People Intermediate Apprentice of the Year 2019 Award.

The prestigious awards celebrate the highest calibre of rising talent across a variety of sectors. This year, Laura Wileman, who has undertaken a Commis Chef apprenticeship at the Michelin-starred Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, has won the Total People Intermediate Apprentice of the Year 2019 Award, after being shortlisted as one of the three contenders.

General Manager of The Chester Grosvenor, Richard Grove, comments: “We are delighted that Laura has won the Total People Intermediate Apprentice of the Year Award. Having started her apprenticeship at the Simon Radley Kitchen Academy just over a year ago, Laura has shown a great deal of talent, drive and determination in a short period of time. Thanks to a comprehensive and hands-on training programme delivered by experts in the field, Laura has ascended a steep learning curve to deliver 2-4 AA Rosette/Michelin star standards. We are thrilled that her hard work has been recognised and look forward to seeing her progress even further.”
