Double delight for five-star Chester hotel as it scoops two accolades at the inaugural Chester Hospitality Association People Awards

Taking place at Chester Racecourse last night (Thursday), the first edition of the awards, which seek to celebrate the talented people working in the city’s thriving hospitality scene, saw The Chester Grosvenor’s Executive Head Chef, Elliot Hill, claim the ‘Chef of the Year Award’, while its linen porter, supervisor and Assistant Head Housekeeper, Radek Moszan, received the ‘Heart of the House Award’.

The CHA People Awards, held in association with Staff 86, seek to recognise the unsung, hardworking heroes in the industry. It is run by the Chester Hospitality Association, a membership-based association of hospitality businesses championing the city of Chester.

Steven Hesketh, Executive Board Chair of CHA, said: “Congratulations to Elliot, Radek and all the other winners. Their success highlights the fantastic hospitality service we offer in Chester, and judging by the volume of nominations we’ve had for this inaugural celebration, we expect these awards to become a staple of the city’s events calendar.”
