This month marks one year of Arkle at The Chester Grosvenor!

Arkle is the flagship restaurant of  five red star hotel, The Chester Grosvenor. Being part of such an establishment, the award winning restaurant  delivers a high level of service and quality. 

Within its first year, Arkle has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes and received an AA Notable Wine Award, adding to its credentials as a luxury, refined dining restaurant.

The kitchen team uses fresh seasonal ingredients to create a variety of exquisite dishes, while the front of house team executes exceptional service, to enhance the guests’ visit.

Prior to its transformation, the restaurant (in its previous incarnation, “Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor”), had a reputation for delivering food of the highest standard. 

While this remains the case, the restaurant itself is a little more relaxed, and the furnishings more inviting, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere, and offering first-class dining in the heart of Chester.

Guests can expect to experience expertly designed menus, created using the freshest of seasonal  ingredients, which can be complemented by carefully selected wines.

Now that Arkle has been open for a year, there’s scope to review what’s working well, and how it can be improved upon in the future. 

One idea, that is hoping to be set in motion soon, is opening regularly for Saturday lunches (so, watch this space!).
