Key Responsibilities

Supporting the La Brasserie team, the Host / Hostess will charismatically meet and greet all who enter our 2AA Rosette restaurant.  You will be responsible for administration tasks associated with bookings, menu planning and payments along with ensuring that a seamless service is delivered.  We are seeking a team player who can anticipate service requirements and assist the team with a variety of ad hoc duties when necessary.

Desirable Candidate

Key Responsibilities

Our Front of House team are the nucleus of the hotel, responsible for the guests' all-important first impressions and their asting memories.  Striving to make each individual guest’s stay as joyful as possible through friendly, conscientious and thoughtful service.

There is one opportunity at The Chester Grosvenor to join the Front of House team as a Receptionist on a Fixed Term, Full Time basis (5 days over 7, morning, afternoon or evening shifts therefore a degree of flexibility is required).

You’ll join an extremely talented team, who are the faces of The Chester Grosvenor Hotel . You will be responsible for ensuring that a warm and friendly welcome is given to guests during check in and departure.

Desirable Candidate

You must be friendly and outgoing with the ability to strike up a conversation with those whom enter the hotel. You will be professional and courteous with the ability to recognise those who need additional assistance. Our ideal candidate will be alert, conscientious and professional with experience with Opera systems and recent experience in customer service.

Fixed Term Contract 3-6 months
Key Responsibilities

Our Demi Chef de Partie will work under the leadership of the Chef de Partie within our La Brasserie kitchen. You will be nurtured to develop your skills working on a variety of sections within a professional environment. With excellent time management and communication skills you will be in tune with other sections, delivering your element of a dish to produce food in a high pressure environment.

You will be passionate about cookery and relish working within a fast paced environment. You will have creative flair and will be committed to expanding your existing skill set under the wings of the most professional chefs in hospitality. Our desirable candidate has charisma, character and thrives in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll join a busy team, responsible for delivering an exceptional guest service when carrying out cleaning tasks within guest bedrooms, guest areas and back of hotel facilities. During evening shifts you will offer a turndown service to in house guests.  Effective time management is required to turn around guest rooms and areas in line with check out/check in deadlines, whilst maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.  Circa 18 hours per calendar week.

Desirable Candidate

Being friendly and courteous is part of your nature, along with having the drive to manage your time well. Our desired candidate is meticulous with a fine eye for detail and takes pride in their high standard of work. You will be trustworthy, well presented and professional at all times when interacting with guests and colleagues. Previous experience would be helpful, however full training will be given.

Approximately 18 hours per week. Friday to Sunday. Must be full flexible to work either day shifts 9am-3pm or evening shifts.

We are looking to recruit an experienced, knowledgeable part time (evenings and weekends) bartender for our La Brasserie Champagne and Cocktail Bar. La Brasserie is the real hub of The Chester Grosvenor and requires someone with experience working in a high volume operation.

You will aid in the seamless running of the bar and restaurant by providing a cheerful, confident and efficient service to our guests, with an observant eye for detail. We anticipate that you will have previously worked in a cocktail bar environment. You should possess a sound working knowledge on cocktails, wines and spirits with the ability to upsell and make suitable recommendations to guests. The position includes a range shift patterns including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

To have what it takes, you must be an enthusiastic individual who will complement the existing ethos within the restaurant team, you will have a passion for giving exceptional service and ensure that the guest experience at The Chester Grosvenor is always 5 star. Part Time
Key Responsibilities

Part time opportunities are available for existing or aspiring Waiters, Waitresses and Bar Staff within our opulent meetings, events and private dining settings. Reporting to the Meetings and Events management team, you will assist in the set-up of events and delivery of food and beverage services to a high standard. Days and hours of work depend on the scheduling of events with the additional opportunity to work in other restaurants within the hotel.

Desirable Candidate

We're looking for someone with enthusiasm, immaculate personal presentation and a positive, outgoing personality. You'll be a terrific team player with a commitment to giving our guests a memorable experience. Previous experience would be helpful, however full training will be given.
