Key Responsibilities

Our Demi/Chef de Partie will work alongside or under the leadership of the existing Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Head Chef within our Michelin starred kitchen. With excellent time management and communication skills, you will be in tune with other sections, delivering your element of a dish to produce food that is of Michelin star and 4 AA Rosette standard.

Desirable Candidate

Working with the finest seasonal and local produce you will have a passion for the finesse of Michelin star preparation and techniques. Our desirarble candidate demonstrates a passion in fine tuning their own cooking skills with future career progression in their sights. You will be an effective communicator with at least 1 years’ experience in working within a quality establishment or high volume kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll join a busy team, responsible for delivering an exceptional guest service when carrying out cleaning tasks within guest bedrooms, guest areas and back of hotel facilities. During evening shifts you will offer a turndown service to in house guests.  Effective time management is required to turn around guest rooms and areas in line with check out/check in deadlines, whilst maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.

Desirable Candidate

Being friendly and courteous is part of your nature, along with having the drive to manage your time well. Our desired candidate is meticulous with a fine eye for detail and takes pride in their high standard of work. You will be trustworthy, well presented and professional at all times when interacting with guests and colleagues. Previous experience would be helpful, however full training will be given.

As Bartender you will have flair, charisma and charm with the ability to provide the highest levels of service to our customers. The Bartender is responsible for providing an excellent level of service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Full time and part time opportunities available. In the confident and efficient handling of orders and requests, you will partake in the seamless running of the 2 AA Rosette restaurant and delivery of a 5 Red Star service. Liaising with the kitchen and bar teams, you will be an expert in conveying menu information to our guests.

You will be precise, organised and an effective communicator who thrives in a busy environment. Restaurant experience is preferable but full training will be given. 

Variety of shifts available
Key Responsibilities

Part time opportunities are available for existing or aspiring Waiters, Waitresses and Bar Staff within our opulent meetings, events and private dining settings. Reporting to the Meetings and Events management team, you will assist in the set-up of events and delivery of food and beverage services to a high standard. Days and hours of work depend on the scheduling of events with the additional opportunity to work in other restaurants within the hotel.

We're looking for someone with enthusiasm, immaculate personal presentation and a positive, outgoing personality. You'll be a terrific team player with a commitment to giving our guests a memorable experience. Previous experience would be helpful, however full training will be given.

We’re looking to appoint a Night Porter to work 32 hours per week within our friendly nights team in taking care of the hotel and its guests throughout the twilight hours.

About Team Grosvenor

You’ll join a lively, talented and hardworking team who deliver thoughtful and supremely professional service. As part of the Front of House “face” of the hotel you’ll help to make every guest’s stay as happy and memorable as possible.

We’re looking for a “people person” with a great personality who will complement the Nights team in continuing our warm and efficient service throughout the night. You’ll have good communication skills in engaging with our guests, especially those arriving late or departing at dawn, recognizing where swift service and additional assistance may be required. Security is a main focus during the night, therefore you’ll be vigilant and conscientious, a strong and reliable member of the team.

We are searching for a passionate and dynamic Pastry Chef who is ready for a new challenge. You will deliver exceptional plate work, from 2 AA Rosette to Michelin star level. Working with the finest produce, you will lead a section and nurture talent competently and confidently. You will be multi-skilled and willing to master pastry and bakery techniques.

Desirable Candidate

Established within your craft as a Pastry Chef de Partie, you are enthusiastic, motivated to learn, inspired to teach others and eager to break the mould. Providing a range of quality desserts to both our restaurants you will have an eclectic knowledge base, ready to prove your creative flair. Level 2 Food Safety in Catering is preferable, however full training will be provided.

 

Key Responsibilities

Our Pastry Sous Chef will work under the direction of the Head Chefs of Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, La Brasserie and Meetings and Events. You will be responsible for all desserts produced by the pastry team and artisan breads produced by the bakery. You will have a flare for leading your fellow chef brigade, managing, motivating and moulding talent.

Desirable Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in a Sous Chef position within pastry at a similar establishment. You will lead by example and will inspire your team to be creative, productive and time efficient.

Reporting to the Spa Manager your role will be to ensure our Spa guests receive the perfect spa treatment and experience. You will use your expertise to advise guests on beauty treatments and products and will be keen to use your initiative to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction are achieved.

An new opportunity has arisen at The Chester Grosvenor to join the Front of House Night team, as our Assistant Night Manager.

You’ll join an extremely talented team, who are the faces of The Chester Grosvenor Hotel .

Reporting to the Rooms Operations Manager, the Assistant Night Manager will take responsibility for our night shift team, front office and duty management of our 5 Red Star Hotel.

Precision is required for auditing duties such as end of day reports, banking and statistics. You will maintain hotel safety and security as well as delivering high levels of customer care and hotel cleanliness.

You will be trained to have excellent knowledge of front and back of house operations to provide an informed service to our guests. We are interested in confident and collaborative candidates with proven skills in guest interaction.

You will develop a close working relationship with all other departments. As a strong leader, you will effectively delegate tasks to the Night Porters and Night Cleaners. We are very interested in candidates that have experience in a hotel environment, however full training will be provided.

Being courteous yet confidently driven is part of your nature. As a manager you will be required to train, motivate, nurture and provide feedback to the night team to ensure that tasks are achieved in a timely manner. You will have a minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience within a quality establishment. Experience with IT maintenance and Opera systems is advantageous.
