The Spa at The Chester Grosvenor offers a range of traditional, contemporary and holistic therapies as well as a thermal suite with crystal steam room, salt grotto, sauna, foot baths and relaxation lounge.

A menu of rituals and treatments is designed to balance mind, body and spirit. Delivered by the skilful hands of our experienced therapists using the finest products from our chosen skincare partner ELEMIS.

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent part time work Spa Receptionist.

You’ll join a talented team of star therapists and will be responsible for bookings, confirmations and orders. In addition to this you will  provide thorough treatment and product information to clients over the telephone and in person. You will be actively involved in product sales and will be given full training.

24 hours per week, working Monday, Thursday and Sunday (although flexibilitiy to help cover sickness and holidays is preferred).

Key Responsibilities

You’ll join a busy team, responsible for delivering an exceptional guest service when carrying out cleaning tasks within guest bedrooms, guest areas and back of hotel facilities. Our morning shift starts from 7am, you will be responsible for cleaning communal areas or our Spa to prepare for the day ahead.  Our midshift team are responsible for cleaning the bedrooms following departures and we are looking for someone who can easily converse with our guests.  During evening shifts you will offer a turndown service to in house guests until 9pm.  Effective time management is required to turn around guest rooms and areas in line with check out/check in deadlines, whilst maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.

Desirable Candidate

Being friendly and courteous is part of your nature, along with having the drive to manage your time well. Our desired candidate is meticulous with a fine eye for detail and takes pride in their high standard of work. You will be trustworthy, well presented and professional at all times when interacting with guests and colleagues. Previous experience would be advantageous, however full training will be given.

Varied Hours. Shifts fall between 7am-9pm across 7 days per week. You may be required to work up to 5 days over 7.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting the La Brasserie team, the Host / Hostess will charismatically meet and greet all who enter our 2AA Rosette restaurant.  You will be responsible for taking telephone calls and completing administration tasks associated with bookings, menu planning and payments along with ensuring that a seamless service is delivered.  We are seeking a team player who can anticipate service requirements and assist the team with a variety of ad hoc duties when necessary.

This is the perfect role for someone with a bright personality and who is highly organised yet thrives on variety within a busy and social environment.  You will be the eyes and ears of our team, always striving to connect with our guests, anticipate and correct gaps in service and act as a resourceful thinker.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking to recruit an experienced, knowledgeable full time bartender for our La Brasserie Champagne and Cocktail Bar. La Brasserie is the real hub of The Chester Grosvenor and requires someone with experience working in a high volume operation.

You will aid in the seamless running of the bar and restaurant by providing a cheerful, confident and efficient service to our guests, with an observant eye for detail. We anticipate that you will have previously worked in a cocktail bar environment. You should possess a sound working knowledge on cocktails, wines and spirits with the ability to upsell and make suitable recommendations to guests. The position includes a range shift patterns including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Part time opportunities are available for existing or aspiring Waiters, Waitresses and Bar Staff within our opulent meetings, events and private dining settings. Reporting to the Meetings and Events management team, you will assist in the set-up of events and delivery of food and beverage services to a high standard. Days and hours of work depend on the scheduling of events with the additional opportunity to work in other restaurants within the hotel.

If you are a passionate and enthusiastic Sommelier with previous experience in a fine dining restaurant, this rare opportunity is perfect for you!

You will confidently guide our guests through our wine selection and provide recommendations to complement their food, while maintaining the highest levels of service.

An opportunity has arisen at The Chester Grosvenor to join the Front of House Night team, as our Night Manager.

You’ll join an extremely talented front of house team, who are the nucleus of the of the Chester Grosvenor Hotel .

Reporting to the Rooms Operations Manager, the Night Manager will take responsibility for our night shift team, front office and duty management of our 5 Red Star Hotel.

Precision is required for auditing duties such as end of day reports, banking and statistics. You will maintain hotel safety and security as well as delivering high levels of customer care and hotel cleanliness.

You will be trained to have excellent knowledge of front and back of house operations to provide an informed service to our guests. We are interested in confident and collaborative candidates with proven skills in guest interaction.

You will develop a close working relationship with all other departments. As a strong leader, you will effectively delegate tasks to the Night Porters and Night Cleaners.

We are very interested in candidates that have experience in a hotel environment, however full training will be provided.

Being courteous yet confidently driven is part of your nature. As a manager you will be required to train, motivate, nurture and provide feedback to the night team to ensure that tasks are achieved in a timely and detailed manner. You will have a minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience within a quality establishment. Experience with IT, maintenance and Opera systems is advantageous. We are searching for a pro-active thinker who will actively maintain the best interests of our building, guests and staff.
